Thank you for your interest in volunteering at the Chattanooga Arboretum & Nature Center! Volunteers come from different backgrounds, with each contributing a unique perspective to the center. Volunteers are greatly appreciated in all fields, however, positions are limited in some departments. The Chattanooga Arboretum & Nature Center strives to accommodate academic community service needs, as well as personal preferences or physical limitations.
Monday Mornings from 9am to 12pm Join CA&NC volunteers and staff to maintain and enhance the Holsomback Hillside Garden. The Holsomback garden contains collections of Glendale Azaleas, rhododendrons, and hardy camellias. The garden shrubs are adorned with blooms from December through the spring and early summer. Its location near the entrance and exit to the Visitor's Center make this an important part of every visitor's experience.
